A Better Way to Handle Finances: Sign Up for a Sage Free Trial

Are you struggling to handle finances and project management? Do you have difficulty managing info from Salesforce or another top e-commerce platform? Do you need a platform that prioritizes reliability? You’re not alone. Whether you’re in the business of parchment paper, hiker gear, or snacks like peanuts and raisins, you’re going to have to handle money and project management at some point. Even if you have some of the top names in the field, it can be difficult to handle your financials. That’s where platforms like Sage can help.

Sage is a savvy accounting platform that combines some of the Sage Group’s top talents to create a toolkit that performs. Whether you’re in the U.S. or elsewhere, Sage can help you with project management, operations runners, and even help you spot a point of interest in your accounting. Plus, the platform has free guides to get you started and use programs like the Sage 50Cloud. It’s a great choice for both small and medium-sized businesses. The site also has helpful tools for construction brands as well.

Even though Sage isn’t free, the brand offers a free trial so that you can check out the platform for yourself. As your financial aid station, this free trial gives you the chance to explore all the features and tools the platform has to offer. You can also get 70% off a six-month membership if you sign up with a credit card after the trial ends. If you’re ready to sign up for a trial, learn more about Salesforce accounting data, and tinker with the Sage 50Cloud, here’s what you need to know.

Step One: Click the “Start my free trial” button.

When you’re ready to test out this platform for yourself, you’re going to want to visit the Sage trial signup page. This page provides you with plenty of helpful information about the service and even has links to useful news stories like the accounting industry amidst COVID-19. While you can loop through the page and check out some of the information available, your goal is the trial signup page. Luckily, there are two to choose from. There’s one in the top right corner and one towards the center of the page. Click whichever button you want to continue with the signup process.

Step Two: Enter your information.

Information - Sage Accounting Sign up

Once you’ve clicked the “Start my free trial” button, the site will take you to a page where it’s asking for a bit of personal information. This data is used to set up your user profile, and Sage may use your email address to tell you about special offers and promotions. You’ll need to enter and confirm your email address and also enter your full name. You’ll also need to click a checkbox showing you accept the brand’s terms of service and conditions. This is a good time to review those terms and the privacy policy. Once you’ve filled out the form completely, you can click the button that says “Continue.”

On the next page, you’ll need to create your password. Since this platform handles your business’s financial information, you’re going to want to choose a strong password. Consider something with special characters, capitalized letters, and even numbers. When you’ve created a good password, hit “Continue” once more to go to the security check.

The security check page is quite simple. All you need to do is click the checkbox for the reCAPTCHA, and click a checkbox next to the terms once more. After all of this is done, you can finally continue in the process.

Step Three: Enter the code from your email.

At this point, you’ll visit a page that states that Sage has sent you an email with a code. This step is also easy. Log into the email you provided when you signed up, and look for an email from the brand. If you’re having a hard time finding it, check your promotions and your spam folder. If you still don’t find the correct email, you can go back to the Sage code page and click the button that says “Resend Code.” When you have a code, enter it into the appropriate field, and click the button below that says “Continue.”

Step Four: Enter your business details.

Sage - Business Name set up

On the next few pages, you’ll be asked to provide your business name and address on top of a business phone number that will help the platform handle your invoices for products like oats, parchment paper, trail maps, hiking gear, and much more. The type of product invoices you’ll handle depends on your business. You’ll also have to answer whether you charge sales tax. Enter all the requested information, and choose an answer for the sales tax question. The platform will verify your local sales tax. When you’re ready, click the button that says “All Done!”

Step Five: Explore.

Sage - Set up

Once you’ve completed the signup loop, you’re ready to start digging around in the platform. You’ll be at the dashboard, and you can look through the brand’s suite of accounting tools, review invoices, or handle project management. At the top of the page, you’ll see a banner that notifies you that you’re in a trial period. This banner also gives you the option to upgrade to a paid membership. If you like what you see with Sage, you may want to consider signing up for full-fledged membership.
